Review
Katatonia have made one of the most enduring progressive metal records ever made anywhere; an album you can live inside and play on repeat again and again. Give it time. It isn't an instant, ingratiating record, but it works its way in and then stays there. The songs grow on you, and don't forget to savour the varied drumming. Every track has its own rhythm, and no track's beat sounds like any other's. World class!
