Manifesto

Music that lasts

Some records sound amazing the first time and never again. Others grow with every play – and a few sound as obvious today as when they came out.

That’s why every record gets two scores: First listen, how it grabbed you straight away, and Still holds up, how it sounds on the tenth, hundredth and thousandth play. The difference shows whether a record is a grower or has faded.

We write about old classics and new records with the same question in mind: will I want to put this on again?
